A movement to popularise the use of natural farming methods, also called agro-ecology, which aims to restore soil and ecosystems, by aligning with nature, and thereby restoring infinite nutrition in soil, thereby eliminating the need to invest in non farm inputs, and multiplying the productivity of the farm, making farmers self-reliant and prosperous, at the same time, making farms climate friendly, and consumers have poison food free to eat.

A voluntary citizens’ initiative emerged in 1990-91 as a forum for discussion and action on issues impacting Bangalore, its development and future.

Citizens' Ward Committees - a group of shadow ward committees that provide oversight over the functioning of the Ward Committees, which are the fourth tier of government which provides the platform for grassroots democracy and citizen engagement in govt.
